Heather is responsible for all aspects of Savista’s legal and compliance programs. She has been with the organization for more than 16 years, most recently serving as Deputy General Counsel for nThrive, Inc. Heather brings a wealth of experience from an early career in litigation, followed by multiple leadership roles at our legacy organizations. An avid believer in servant leadership and individual empowerment, Heather embraces the “counselor” aspect of her work with intention and enthusiasm. Coaching others to success, whether it entails legal advice, skills development, or other counseling, is fundamental to her own philosophy and a cornerstone of the Savista culture that she has had the privilege to help build and support.
Heather and her husband are from New York and Patagonia, respectively, but have lived in Dallas, Texas for years. Their fur baby, Nico, makes regular appearances on Zoom, often with one of his formerly-stuffed animals. In addition to travel, Heather’s interests include cooking, eating, foreign languages, meditation, health hacks, and repeated failed attempts to grow culinary herbs in the Texas heat.
